WHO WE ARE

The Catskill Choral Society was formed in 1970 as the Community Chorale. Since its inception, the group has emerged as an outstanding musical organization in the Central New York Region.

The Catskill Choral Society is dedicated to the promotion of choral singing. Based in Oneonta, New York, this chorus of more than eighty men and women draws members from many surrounding communities.

ABOUT OUR MUSIC

The Society’s repertoire represents nearly every musical period and style. The group has performed numerous American premieres, including Tom Johnson’s Bonhoeffer Oratorium and Antonin Reicha’s Requiem.
